This is a mother of two gorgeous teenage kids...she married young, had kids young, etc etc which when I think of it, it's kind of cool in a way coz she's still in her 30s and her kids are big...oh so cool...i'll be 50 when my kids turn 21...aarrgghh...

And this....I like a lot.... red lipstick..You can go so very wrong with red lipstick if u dont wear it right...so just be careful!!

Makeup for a Birthday Dinner

This is my friend who I buy all my crystals from...hehhe. I never knew this about her, but she is sooo make-up phobic! All throughout the makeup process she was worried she'd end up looking like a clown! (obviously unaware of who she's dealing with :P ) So above is the 'before' shot.

Anyway, I promised her she wouldn't end up looking like a clown!

This was the best I could do with the extremely limited time she gave me!! And I think it's the best I could do without freaking her out. Notice that she wouldn't even let me put false lashes on her which really looked awsome on her...but boring ..she asked to have them removed! uurrrghh ..why do I even bother!

So what I basically did for her was even out her skin tone, kept everything natural and just slightly gave more definition to the eyes.

She was happy with the result...yaaayee...! That's all that matters at the end of the day I guess...although I would have liked to put the lashes on and do more with the blush maybe and eyes and lips..the whole thing..more more more...hehhehe...

Thank goodness using her make-up worked out in the end..but I really would have loved to use my stuff on her....well I guess that's what you get when u have a 'green environmentalist conscious ' type of customer.... :P

Wedding Advice No.9

Please make sure you have enough, or extra, seats for your guests. Also make sure there is enough food for your guests. Seriously... do not under estimate these two things. If anything, just make allowances for more people because you just may never know.

I wish we could get into this RSVP kind of thing it would really help with the estimating of food and seating....but us Bruneians simple don't do that sort of thing...but in my opinion we actually should..!

My advice on how to estimate this sort of thing would be to count the number of invitations you give out, say 500, then multiply that by 2. Then minus 15%, then add the number of how many familly members are actively halping you out for the actual wedding itself (plus the number of their children) ie. running around your house and at the wedding hall like mad preparing stuff for you.
And then depending on your budget, from there you can add on what you can afford...probably throw in one extra kem, just in case!

Reasoning:
Multiply by 2 coz usually one invitation is for 2 people. OK
Minus 15% coz chances are this 15% may not attend coz of other invitations, they are out the country etc etc etc....
Then adding your family members in. This one is possible to count and make a close estimation.

HHhhhmmm....Does this work...hhmmmm? sounds about right......
