My Second 'Dance' Client...!!
The before shot...
Dunno why I get so excited doing makeup for dance performances now...i guess coz it's a new thing for me and I love the idea of the face that I've made-up floating across a dance floor with everyone watching...woohoooo...
Love this face...
This time the dancer is doing the 'Waltz' so no outrageous colours for her....just kept it simple and elegant
My First Dance Competition Make-Up Client!!
Here's the before shot...
Okay okay...I can explain this shot... by the time I was finished it was already dark and the lights at my place are all yellow so y'cant really see the actual colours....and we were, by this time, all in a frantic rush so I just couldn't take a decent picture. BUT she looked fabulous!!! She's only a beginner and won 3rd place in the competition....SO GOOD...!! It's the makeup too y'knw...hahahha :)
Me in action...!!
Since her performance was a latin dance we decided to have her body all bronzed up to play the part. see the difference!!
Look at that arm compared to her tummy!!! WOW!!! hehehehhe

2nd MAKE-UP CLASS: How To Apply Coloured Eyeshadow Beautifully
This is the second workshop I'm going to conduct. The first one went quite well considering it was the first class and, naturally, practise makes perfect.
I'm very proud to present my next class:
Date: FRIDAY 10TH DECEMBER 2010
Time: start between 12.30 - 1.00 pm
Duration: 2 Hrs
Venue: Nearby 'YMRM' Tungku Link branch.
Bring all, everything....all the eyeshadows you have. If possible bring along eyeliner and mascara too.
Fees for this very, very worth it lesson is $40.
Why have I decided to hold this class..?? It's because I have seen many ...MANY..ladies out there walking around in Brunei (in front of my face lagi tu..!! stress ku..!!) wearing eye makeup and, in my opinion, getting it all wrong. honestly!! With eye-makeup you don't wana look too messy that people actually stare and you don't want to be too plain that in the end there was no reason to put it on in the first place.
I'm gona teach you how to wear your eyeshadow so that it brings out the best in your look.
To join email/SMS me. Seats are limited.

1st MAKEUP CLASS : How to apply foundation and powder 'FLAWLESSLY'
After too much contemplation, I've decided to go ahead with makeup classes. So here it is, the first make-up class will be as follows:
Date: Friday 19th November 2010 (with a repeat class on Saturday 20th November 2010)
Venue: Near YMRM area, Simpang 100, Tungku Link, Brunei Darussalam.
Time: 11am - 1pm
Fee: $40
This will be a 'basic personal beginners level' class so no knowledge of makeup application is required. The makeup I will be showing is very natural, the kind of makeup you can do everyday, and the kind of makeup that will still give you a soft look.
Seats are limited. Each session can take 6-8 participants only.
Participants are to bring own make-up, brushes, sponges...basically everything you own that has to do with make-up, bring it.
To confirm attendance SMS/call me asap the latest by Wednesday 17th November 2010.

Wedding Planner
I've been thinking and thinking...I'm just tired of thinking ..... I should just go ahead and do it...
I've heard several of my friends say they want to get into the whole Wedding Planner thing and the first thing that came to my mind was, y'all are crazy...!! It's just crazy to me coz I'm a bridal make-up artist and even that can drive me nuts when things don't go right..! I couldn't imagine what it would be like to handle all the other stuff....
But y'knw...there's actually really nothing to fear but fear itself. See how things go....
I believe I could pull together the most romantic and 'personal touched' wedding for each and every bride. The only thing the bride will have to worry about is making sure she gets some sleep. Wouldn't that be a dream??
hhmmm..let's see, I know every step of the wedding rituals over here...I'm open enough for modern changes and I'm pretty sure I have an eye for 'bridal' looking things... I am particular with bridal designers and other make-up artists ( i like who i like, basically)..so I'm sure my suggestions will be 'favourable' ... other aspects of the wedding...think I can co-ordinate that, been doing it for the last few years of my life already anyway!
The only thing... can familly members accept a 'wedding planner' confirming the details.... hhmmm...??? People can get so 'iffy' about these things....
So I guess there's only one solution. I HAVE TO BE PERFECTLY PROFESSIONAL in every way. Man how do I do that...?!?! hahhahaha
So, here's my offer. any bride out there who is clueless and can't think anymore, and even who's parents are not so confident on how things are to be arranged (maybe it's the first wedding), I offer my services to you not as Make-Up Artist, but Wedding Planner. :)
