Berpacar Ceremony - 13th June 2009

Tiara is a very very old antique...suites quite well with this look. This occasions was for close familly members only, very relaxed event...had to be relaxed coz the next day - BIG sanding day!! Hair was done by Andre.... he's really good..I should have taken a shot of her hair at the back..he put in white orchids...LAWAAAAAaaa.....but only one thing that really bugged me, he kept 'watching' me doing the make-up...made me super nervous instead!! I hated it..i felt like I was taking a practical EXAM and the examiner in breathing down my neck!! I've always hated that ever since I can remember taking tests/exams in school...eeeeeee...my teacher would stand near my table while I'm writing and all my ideas would fly out my head!...thanx a lot! I sooo have to get over that feeling.....!!

I love functions at night so i can pile on the blusher and foundation and everything else....

This time has got to be the most rushed i've ever been...ok the story was...I got to the bride's house ...on time...which i thought I was actually late , but it turned out...the bride was still out at the tailors getting her wedding dress fitted!! MADNESS!! I was already dreading how pressed for time i was going to be....but anyhow, somehow, I managed to get her dressed by 8pm and still had few minutes to take few pictures before going out on the pelamin...phew! and one important things to the future brides out there...liquid liner does NOT dry up in ONE second!!! so DO NOT open your eyes!!!! *yup she did* I wanted to CRY!!! but now that that session is over i can breathe again till the next function which is tonight...hopefully I'll sail through this one.....

Sorry..no "before" shots yet..hehehe...i should put it up..nanti tah...ok the special thing that i did for this makeup....she has very faint and small eyelashes...like so many people do...iatah I have new eyelashes for the lower lashes under the eye. so together with the normal fake upper lashes, i added fake lower lashes as well......quite natural jua...i loved how it worked out. ganya the fake lower lashes were a bit long so i was asked to trim them down a bit...ok lah....

again ..nikah...natural saaaajaaa....

*look at the tiara....its from UK....bride's own...lawaaaaa banar...very fragile though..

This picture I was contemplating whether to put it up of not, but I have permission from the bride that it was okay. so here is her "BEFORE" shot.....

No make-up.........I feel i've kept the natural look for the nikah and just enhanced features..nothing too drastic...
